EV charger installation in Fort Worth

The charger is the easy half. Whether your service can feed it is the real question, and our configurator answers it with an actual load calculation before anyone quotes anything.

After hours — hazards dispatch now ($195, waived for Safety Plan members). Scheduling reopens Monday at 7:30 AM.

The load calculation comes first

A hardwired Level 2 charger is a 40- or 48-amp continuous load — the code makes us size it at 125%, so a Tesla Wall Connector books 60 amps against your service. On a 200-amp panel that is routine. On the 100-amp service most of Fort Worth’s midcentury ranches still run, it usually is not, and an installer who quotes you a charger without running the numbers is planning to discover that on your invoice.

Run the configurator on this site: it does the arithmetic the way our permit sets do, shows every line, and tells you which side of the line your house is on. If the answer is "upgrade first," the bundle price below is how the job actually goes — one permit set, one Oncor coordination, one inspection day, from $82 a month.

What we install

We are certified installers for ChargePoint, Tesla Wall Connector, and Emporia, and we will hardwire any UL-listed unit you already own. Hardwired beats a 14-50 receptacle in a Texas garage for one unglamorous reason: the receptacle option requires a GFCI breaker that nuisance-trips with some chargers, and the hardwired unit does not. We will still fit the receptacle if you want the flexibility — after telling you that.

Every install is permitted and inspected, load calculation filed with the permit — sized against the real Texas load profile, meaning two AC systems already running when the car plugs in at 6pm. Oncor and several retail providers run EV wiring incentives that move; we fill in whatever is current at install time and print the amount on the quote rather than promising it in marketing copy.

5 stars.
Ran their online load calculator before calling and the tech who came out ran the same numbers on paper and got the same answer. My 100A service could not take the charger, exactly as the site said. The bundle quote matched the website to the dollar.
